According to the post convention election poll, Donald Trump has taken the lead having 44 points and Hillary Clinton 39 points, this sudden leap is unusual in the American electoral campaign as CNN states 'that there has not been a significant post-convention bounce in CNN's polling since 2000'.
The polling results have come as a shock to some considering the recent account of plagiarism on the part of his wife Melania Trump.
