Ese Oruru aged 13 who was kidnapped by her lover has now been found, she was kidnapped by her lover Yinusa also known has Mr Yellow who took her to Kano with the intention of converting her to Islam and then forcing her into marriage, after the news of her kidnap about 50,000 tweets have been made prompting the government and police to act fast on ensuring her release with the hash tag #FreeEseOruruNow.
Her mother Mrs Rose Oruru made several attempts to rescue her daughter Ese from the Emir of Kano's palace where she was being held hostage, she even reported the incident to a couple of police stations since last year all to no avail.
With the immense pressure put on the Nigerian police to rescue her she has now been released, the Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi 11 claimed when Ese was brought to his palace he told her lover Yinusa to take her back to her family because she was too young and if he really wants her he should wait till she turns 18. Claims have been made that Ese said she wanted to remain in Kano and she willingly converted to Islam, however Ese denies these claims in a recent interview and says Mr Yinusa is not her boyfriend.
She was taken to the Nigerian police headquarters in Abuja and her kidnapper Yinusa has reportedly been arrested.
